TearDrop on the Sun was inspired by the song "TearDrop" by Massive Attack. I had always liked the song. Once while at site, working on a crappy unknown unidentifiable project, i got this beat running in my head ( at times beats start playing but eventually my brain just erases it feeling that "hey..this bums not gonna do nethin about this!!...Y the heck should i store it??!!"). But this specific beat kept on playing till i reached home(guess my brainy felt pity on me!). I went directly to my studio and started working on it. Beats were left, now again..i was left out confused what next to create?? I slept of by 9 p.m. by but by mornin 3, I was awake and tunes and grooves running in my head (it was the bass that was keepin on playing). Then i felt..a psychadelic touch would make it sound cooler (accordin to me, it's the Indian music which can bring about that feel ), maybe something which could be played and felt good by someone who is feeling 'high'. Started on it...and it went on (actually I did work on it from work too as i have the DAW copy on my office lappy), that evening i recorded my vocals, and hey...Teardrops On the Sun was formed.
This music according to me is something that potrays mysterious love, urban styles, attitude, that's what's inside me. Song is long coz' shortening it would be like..making something incomplete, not being able to explain a feelings inside (or another way of sayin it..like you wana have a Whooper from BK and you just go there and order " I need a burger"..that's it..??!!:-P)
